PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior beam for a vehicle that can be easily assembled to the undercarriage of a vehicle without needing a major-scale apparatus.SOLUTION: An exterior beam for a vehicle is provided with a beam body formed by a hollow extruded material, and a flange bolt installed so that a screw part protrudes outside from the installing plate of the beam body, and is installed on the undercarriage of the vehicle. A flange part having a plurality of engaging protrusions in which the screw parts stand nearly vertically and protrude from a side is provided to the flange bolt. A through-hole for inserting the screw part of the flange bolt, and a pair of nearly parallel locking protrusion parts which protrude from a rear face so as to hold the through-hole in between and extend nearly linearly are provided to the beam body. The flange bolt is installed to the beam body by the engagement of the engaging protrusions of the flange part between the locking protrusion parts of the beam body in such a state as inserted in the through-hole. |
