a transformer in which a primary side and a secondary side are insulated; a switch element that drives the primary side of the transformer; and a control unit that controls a drive frequency of the switch element, wherein in a case where a state in which the switch element is driven at a first drive frequency is shifted to a state in which the switch element is driven at a second drive frequency lower than the first drive frequency, the control unit turns on the switch element at a timing according to a drive period of the transformer.
