The present invention provides a transformable caterpillar comprising: an orbit of which a length varies; a sprocket formed in the internal of the orbit and engaged with the orbit to rotate the orbit; an idle roller disposed in the circumference of the sprocket, and selectively exposed to the outside and connected to the orbit to extend the orbit; and an idler arm combined in the idle roller for adjusting the position of the idle roller.
