A mattress system comprising an upper layer comprising a comfort layer 10 and a lower layer 20, preferably wherein the upper layer may comprise a means, such as a hook and loop fastener system, eyelets, or a zipper fastening, of attaching the upper and lower layers together. This means may run the entire length of the upper and lower layers. The upper and lower layers may be made out of different fabrics, comprising a variety of permutations of comfort or hardness levels, where the upper layer 20 may comprise any of natural fibres, synthetic fibres, a foam material or pocket springs. The upper layer may include one, or preferably two sleeping surfaces, i.e. surfaces on which one may sleep, providing adjustable levels of comfort, and in embodiments may be reversed or replaced, permitting damaged, soiled or stained mattresses to be replaced easily. |
