<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining device which has a simple structure and is compact in size even in the reclining device which can return a seat back to an angularly adjusted attitude when switching the angularly adjusted seat back into a forward-inclined attitude by a pair of recliners and then returning the seat back to the state before the switching. <P>SOLUTION: The reclining device R includes the recliners 50, 70 and a memory lock mechanism M. When one side recliner 50 is switched from a lock state to an unlock state, the other side recliner 70 can be also switched from the lock state to the unlock state by the turning of shaft members 80, 82, 84 accompanied by the switching. Even if the other side recliner 70 is switched from the lock state to the unlock state, clutch mechanisms 82a1, 88b1 which prevent the turning of the shaft members 80, 82, 84 accompanied by the switching from being transferred to the one side recliner 50 are disposed on the axial line of the shaft members 80, 82, 84. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
