<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To melt a high quality ingot by obtaining the composition of recycled titanium scrap as a raw material and adding additives to the scrap. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: storing individual recognition information and processing history information, which are made to pass a read means and attached to the scrap, in a server; predicting changed portions in chemical composition of the scrap from the processing history information and correcting the individual recognition information (chemical composition) by a computing means; in an initial stage of ingot production, calculating necessary combinations among the scrap, sponge titanium and additives of the raw materials and individual feed rates in the corrected individual recognition information stored in the server, so as to satisfy chemical composition and production rate of the aimed ingot; starting to feed by transmitting the signals corresponding to the calculation results to the feed rate control means of the individual feed means of these raw materials from the computing means; while after the initial stage of ingot production, reading actual production rate of ingot by a detection means of extraction site of ingot; and controlling each feed rate of these raw materials by the computing means based on the actual production rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
