<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner conveying roller and a method for manufacturing the same, for preventing hardening of a roller body or variation in the hardness or the like, fixing an inorganic filler in an exposed state as much as possible on an outer circumference face of the roller body by using a necessary minimum amount of the inorganic filler, and thereby, capable of reducing deposition of toner or the like and achieving excellent developing efficiency, and maintaining the above performances from the initial stage of use for long period of time when the roller is used for an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An inorganic filler is deposited on an outer circumference face 5 of a roller body 2 comprising a crosslinked product of a rubber composition, by basis weight of 0.01 mg/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more and 100 mg/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or less per unit area of the outer circumference face. The outer circumference with the filler deposited is polished by press-contacting with an abrasive cloth sheet 6 while rotating the roller body so as to embed and fix the great number of inorganic filler particles in the crosslinked product, in such a state that a part of the particle is exposed on the outer circumference face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
