<p>A hydrocyclone including an inflow region with a tangential inlet for a feed slurry and having a separating region which adjoins the inflow region and which has an underflow nozzle for discharging coarse materials or coarse granules. At least one additional inlet for feeding a blocking fluid flow is provided in the region of the tangential inlet, the blocking fluid flow and the feed slurry being separated from each other by a lamella at least in the upper region of the hydrocyclone. A method for operating the hydrocyclone is also disclosed.</p> |
