PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing in good yield a fluorinated disulfide compound of a synthetic raw material of a halogenated sulfonic acid such as trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (CF<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>H) usable as a raw material for a medicine, an agrochemical and a polymer, and a catalyst for organic synthesis. SOLUTION: The method for producing the fluorinated disulfide compound represented by formula (II) (wherein, R<SP>1a'</SP>, R<SP>2a'</SP>, R<SP>3a'</SP>, R<SP>1b'</SP>, R<SP>2b'</SP>and R<SP>3b'</SP>are each fluorine or the like; and na' and nb' are each an integer of 1-20) includes reacting a halogenated disulfide compound such as bis(trichloromethyl)disulfide in an organic solvent with an amine hydrofluoride.
