A liquid atomiser which has a housing for receiving a replaceable gas cylinder and a replaceable cartridge which contains the liquid to be atomised. The atomiser has a first valve which operates to allow gas to escape from the gas cylinder into a first flow channel; and a second valve which is able to operate only when the atomiser has received the cartridge, to allow the gas to pass from the first flow channel through the second valve into a second flow channel, through the cartridge. The liquid is thereby atomised and flows out of the atomiser. |
