The air conditioner (1) has air conditioner housing (27) and heat exchanger (2). An electrical resistance heating element is electrically and conductively connected with conductor. The electric current is made to pass through the electrical resistance heating element, to heat the electrical resistor. An electrical insulating element is provided for electrically insulating two conductors. The electrical resistance heating element and conductor are connected to heating coil. A frame for the heating coil is formed partially by the air conditioner housing.
