PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture reproducer capable of seamlessly reproducing received moving pictures while enabling a user to easily retrieve a desired picture by reducing a server load during a trick play. SOLUTION: A series of I-pictures are selectively displayed, when the I-picture selected by the user after trick play is not in a ring buffer, the oldest picture data on the ring buffer are specified based on a write tip-address by the ring buffer at the time of selection, the picture data from the I-picture up to the oldest picture data are requested to a server, the write tip-address is retreated by a picture data portion requested by a picture data receiving unit, the request picture data portion is written from the write tip-address, and a read address is moved to the retreated write tip-address to reproduce the moving pictures from the read address.
