PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which when exchanging battery packs of a motor-driven appliance to which the plurality of battery packs can be attached and detached, a motor of the motor-driven appliance can be suppressed from being operated even though an operation switch of the motor-driven appliance is operated.SOLUTION: A MCU 40 of a motor-driven appliance 1, when determining that a trigger switch 9 is turned on when two battery packs are installed in the motor-driven appliance 1, temporarily turns off the trigger switch 9 and then exhibits, through a first indicator 22a and a second indicator 22b, a restart alarm display for prompting a user of the motor-driven appliance 1 to turn on the trigger switch 9 again (S10-S40) and does not turn on a discharge control switching element 46. |
