PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation method for obtaining umbelliferae plants which contains coumarin compound, chlorogenic acid, or coumarin compound and chlorogenic acid more abundantly.SOLUTION: There is provided a cultivation method of umbelliferae plants in which coumarin compound content and/or chlorogenic acid content in the umbelliferae plants are increased by irradiating umbelliferae plants being cultivated with ultraviolet light. The present invention makes it possible to cultivate umbelliferae plants containing coumarin compound and/or chlorogenic acid more abundantly.
