PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an undercoat composition for use in ink jet printing, and an undercoat composition comprising a reversible polymer material that provides adherence of an ink image to a substrate and adds robustness to a printed ink jet image.SOLUTION: An ink jettable underprint composition includes a reversible polymer material, which can reversibly transition between a liquid state and a solid state by reversible cycloaddition reactions. Upon cooling, the reversible polymer material transitions from a liquid state to a solid state by reversible cycloaddition reactions within a time period of less than about 10 seconds. |
