<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator apparatus which drastically reduces the installation number of direction displays and, thereby, reduces a cost.SOLUTION: On a corner part formed by a lateral surface part 15a and a front surface part 15b of a wing wall 15, a direction display 17 which displays the travelling direction of a car 8 is provided. A cover 18 of the direction display 17 includes a first light transmission part 18a disposed on the lateral surface part 15a and a second light transmission part 18b disposed on the front surface part 15b. A user waiting on a landing hall can visualize the first light transmission part 18a through a landing doorway and a car doorway 11a. Further, a passenger in a cage 11 can mainly visualize the second light transmission part 18b.</p> |
