摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a reversible polymer adhesive composition comprising a reversible polymer material which can reversibly change between a liquid state and a solid state by reversible cycloaddition reactions and which in the solid state forms a hard polymer film; and a method of reversibly bonding objects together using the reversible polymer adhesive composition.SOLUTION: A method of joining two objects includes applying an adhesive composition between and in contact with a first object and a second object, and allowing the adhesive composition to harden to form an adhesive bond between the first and second objects. The adhesive composition consists essentially of an optional stabilizer and a reversible polymer material. The reversible polymer material can reversibly change between a liquid state and a solid state by reversible cycloaddition reactions. Upon cooling, the reversible polymer material changes from the liquid state to the solid state by reversible cycloaddition reactions within a time period less than about 2 minutes. The adhesive composition in a liquid state contains a maleimide compound and a furan compound.</p>
