<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square secondary battery that can absorb impact and vibration at a constriction part when a bus bar is weld fixed with external terminals made of a clad material.SOLUTION: In a square secondary battery 100A, external terminals 141, 151 are in flat plate shapes extending along a battery lid 102. The square secondary battery 100A has a weld part 151b, made of a same kind of metal as a bus bar 300 and can weld with the bus bar 300, at a tip end side; a connection part 151a, made of a different kind of metal as the bus bar 300 and connected with a connection terminal 152, at a base end side; and a diffused junction part 151c, made of the weld part 151b and the connection part 151a diffusion bonded with each other, in the middle of the tip end side and the base end side. The one with less rigidity of the weld part 151b and the connection part 151a is provided with constriction parts 151d, 151e which at least one of the thickness and the width is narrowed.</p> |
