<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device in which contact pressure between contacts hardly reduces even when electromagnetic repulsive force is generated between the contacts.SOLUTION: A contact device comprises: a fixed terminal 11 having a fixed contact 111; a movable contact piece 12 having a movable contact 121 which comes into contact with the fixed contact 111 in such a manner that it can freely separate therefrom; a contact pressure spring 15 which applies, to the movable contact piece 12, elastic force to a fixed terminal 11 side; a thermal deformation member 17 which is deformed by heat generated when a current flows between the movable contact 121 and the fixed contact 111. The thermal deformation member 17 is arranged on the opposite side to the fixed terminal 11 across the movable contact piece 12 and applies, to the movable contact piece 12, pressing force to the fixed terminal 11 side when it is deformed to the movable contact piece 12 side by the heat.</p> |
