<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug pellet oral administration device in which a pellet including the administration drug is ingested by rodents reliably and voluntarily, and thereby the administration of an exact amount of drug is possible.SOLUTION: A drug pellet oral administration device 10 is fixed on wire WL of a cage lid of a box for breeding rodents. Entirely, a saucer 12 supported by a support plate part 15 and a round bar-shaped pellet stopper 13 with one end fixed in the central part of the receiving surface and rising up to the upper part are disposed right under a lower end 11LE of a cylindrical administration pipe 11 of a hollow space 11IS. The pellet 14 containing the administration drug administered from the upper end 11UE of the administration pipe 11 falls to the lower end 11LE, and received by the upper end of the pellet stopper 13. The interval between the upper end of the pellet stopper 13 and the lower end 11LE is set in the minimum dimension allowing the rodents to ingest an exposed part 14EP of the pellet 14 from an oblique direction.</p> |
