<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a fact on a preview screen for previewing image information read from connected storage means, the fact that the image information may not be output dependently on a print setup.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus, for use in reading-means reading image information stored in connected storage means, generating print information by analyzing the read image information, and performing printing with the print information, performs: identification of a print setting that cannot be set in printing the image information as a result of analysis using the image information; then, generation of preview image information from the stored image information; and display of information indicating a specified print setting on a preview screen for displaying the preview image information.</p> |
