The device (1) has a heating body (3) traversed by an air flow (2) to be heated, and a control device (5) including an electric switch (6) e.g. MOSFET, to control the operation of a heating element (4) e.g. positive temperature co-efficient resistor, of the body. The switch is electrically connected to the heating element by an electric conductor (11). The conductor dissipates heat energy created by the switch by exchanging the heat energy with the air flow. The conductor is constituted of a strip made of electrically and thermally conducting metallic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming a heating device.
