The present invention relates to the field of electronic terminal application. Disclosed are a method, device, and system for improving channel change speed, which further save the channel change time and significantly improve the channel change speed. Specific embodiments of the present invention are as follows: before a switch instruction input by a user is received, first information of a preset channel is acquired, and audio/video information of the preset channel is buffered; and when a switch instruction for instructing a switch to the preset channel is received and a target channel indicated by the switch instruction is comprised in the preset channel, a program of the target channel is played in a ready state, so that plenty of time is saved, thereby significantly improving the channel change speed. The technical solution of the present invention is mainly applied in a channel change process. |
