An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for establishing a wavelength connection, comprising: an end node receiving a request message for establishing a fourth wavelength connection from an upstream node, wherein the request message for establishing the fourth wavelength connection comprises information about common available spectrum resources of the wavelength connection before the end node and information about a spectrum requirement of the wavelength connection; the end node determining information about valid spectrum resources of the wavelength connection according to the information about the common available spectrum resources of the wavelength connection before the end node; the end node determining resource information that needs to be configured for the end node and configuring corresponding resources according to the information about the valid spectrum resources of the wavelength connection; the end node sending a feedback message for establishing the fourth wavelength connection to the upstream node, wherein the feedback message for establishing the fourth wavelength connection comprises the information about valid spectrum resources of the wavelength connection and information about resource configurations of the end node. |
