<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such an electrochemical device as to be capable of decreasing a change of capacitance and DC resistivity after a reflow and a float test, and a separator for use in the same.SOLUTION: In a separator for an electrochemical device, at least a part of a surface is made of cellulose decorated with an amine compound, and preferably, the amine compound is dialkyl amine, especially, dialkyl amine in which two alkyl groups are 1-6C alkyl groups.
