PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting device for proofreading for carrying out accurate proofreading.SOLUTION: On an insertion part 21 of an endoscope 20, arranged is a curve detection part 22 comprising a plurality of detectors. On a proofreader 30 used for proofreading of the curve detection part 22, arranged is a penetration hole 32 with which deformation and movement of the insertion part 21 is inhibited by, for example, insertion of the insertion part 21. When the insertion part 21 is inserted into the penetration hole 32, insertion part 21 is inhibited in its movement other than movement in a longitudinal axis direction and rotation on longitudinal axis as a rotational axis. Then, the proofreading is carried out based on output from the curve detection part 22 and a known curvature of the penetration hole 32. Since the configuration of the insertion part 22 is maintained by the proofreader 30, accurate proofreading may be carried out. |
