The invention relates to a spool valve (2) which is especially designed for automatic transmissions of motor vehicles. The spool valve (2) comprises a valve spool (10) that can be moved inside a spool duct (6) and at least two adjacent connecting ducts (12, 14; 14, 16). The spool duct (6) and the valve spool (10) are designed such that the valve spool (10), in an open spool position, establishes a fluid connection between the two adjacent connecting ducts (12, 14; 14, 16), and the valve spool (10), in the open spool position, is guided in a section (34) of the spool duct (6) between the adjacent connecting ducts (12, 14; 14, 16). |
