<p>Producing organically modified aerogel, comprises (a) reacting (A) at least one soluble salt of an acidic or amphoteric oxygen-containing molecular anion with (B) at least one acid to obtain a hydrogel, (b) modifying the hydrogel with a mixture comprising a silylating agent having at least one organic group, and at least one nonpolar solvent, and (c) subcritically drying the organically modified gel. The method does not comprise a step between the steps (a) and (b), for exchanging the solvent and/or for removing salts.</p> |
