Disclosed is a friction type rubber bearing which may be used by easily adjusting an allowed support load or an allowed horizontal displacement in accordance with a change in an installation place or a site condition by being able to easily replace a part in a first support unit installed at a central portion, is easily assembled, and has excellent part compatibility. The friction type rubber bearing includes a first plate; a first support unit installed at a central portion of the first plate; a second support unit supporting a load of a structure installed at the first plate to be apart from the first support unit along the circumference of the first support unit to form an inner space and support the inner space together with the first support load and providing restoration force with respect to horizontal displacement of the support structure; and a second plate coupled to a surface of the second support unit and having a through-hole of greater area than the first support unit perforated at the central portion.
