PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyamide monofilament, with good productivity, which can provide a gauze fabric suppressed in formation of knots, reduced in unevenness of size in the yarn longitudinal direction and being excellent in quality.SOLUTION: A method of producing a polyamide monofilament uses a melt spinning pack consisting of (a) nozzle 8, (b) a pressure resistant plate 7, (c) a metal wire filter 6 and (d) a sand filter medium layer 5 or a distributor, laminated in a pack case for melt spinning, and (e) a sintered filter 9 composed of a metal short fiber having a nearly polygonal cross section is provided between (c) the metal wire filter and (d) the sand filter medium or the distributor. The polymer passing quantity of the sintered filter 9 composed of a metal shor fiber is 0.8-3.1 g/cmmin. |
