A liquid container (50) attachable to/detachable from a liquid consumption device and having at least one section thereof configured using a flexible member comprises: a liquid housing section (52) capable of housing liquid; an operation member (53) positioned on one end section of the liquid housing section (52) and having a grasping surface capable of being grasped; and a liquid supply section (55) having a liquid supply port at one end thereof. The operation member (53) is provided such that the grasping surface is offset relative to the liquid supply port, in the axial direction of the liquid supply section (55). The liquid container (50) attachable to/detachable from a liquid consumption device comprises the liquid housing section (52) capable of housing liquid; and the liquid supply section (55) positioned on one end side of the liquid housing section (52), supporting the liquid housing section (52) further on the top side in the gravity direction when connected to the liquid consumption device, and capable of being connected to a liquid introduction section of the liquid consumption device by being caused to move in the connection direction including a first direction component being the horizontal direction. |
