摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery state detecting apparatus that can effectively restrain increases in manufacturing cost and in hardware size.SOLUTION: In a battery state detecting apparatus 1, a controller 30 so controls a charger 11 as to cause a plurality of secondary batteries B, which make up a battery pack 5, to output a charge current Ipc for state detection containing a DC component that takes on a certain amperage and an AC component whose amplitude is not greater than this amperage; when the charge current Ipc for state detection is outputted from the charger 11, an effective value Ve of the AC component contained in the voltage between the two electrodes of each of the secondary batteries B is detected; and when the charge current Ipc for state detection is outputted from the charger 11, an effective value Ie of the AC component contained in the amperage flowing through the secondary batteries B is detected. And the controller 30 detects an internal impedance Z of the secondary batteries B on the basis of the effective value Ve of the AC component contained in the voltage between the two electrodes and the effective value Ie of the AC component contained in the amperage flowing through the secondary batteries B.
