<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus capable of performing suitable display control.SOLUTION: An image display apparatus 1 includes: image display parts 20, 20A divided into a plurality of regions R and having a shielding structure 100 capable of turning on/off a shielding function capable of displaying an image in each divided region R and disabling observation from a predetermined direction in each divided region; a detection part 51c for detecting the number and positions of observers observing the image display parts 20, 20A ; and a control part 51 for displaying an image on the divided region R corresponding to a position on which the observer is detected on the basis of a detection result of the detection part 51c, and when a plurality of observers are detected, actuating the shielding structure so that an image displayed for a certain observer is shielded from the other observer.</p> |
