Provided is a machining device, which has a well-balanced structure and exhibits favorable usability, in which deviation due to use does not occur easily, and with which the extent of protrusion of the cutting tool can be accurately adjusted. A device, in which an electric tool (14) is set on the lower side of a table (11) that configures a work bench and which performs machining using a bit that is provided so as to allow protrusion and retraction from above the work surface from an opening (11a) made in the table, is equipped with: a pair of parallel left and right hoisting rails (20l, 20r) installed on the supports (12) of the table; a lift (22), which has movable sliding sections (21l, 21r) that engage with the pair of left and right hoisting rails, has a structure that is integrated with said left and right sliding sections, and supports the load of the electric tool; and a hoisting arm (24) that is pivotally supported on the left and right sliding sections of the lift. The hoisting arm has a lever mechanism and is configured so that the fulcrum of the lever mechanism is set on fulcrum members (30l, 30r) that are swingably provided on the supports. |
