Provided are: a rubber composition that maintains the original mechanical strength of chloroprene rubber without the use of a block copolymer of styrene and butadiene as a compatibilizer, and that makes it possible to obtain a vulcanized molded body having excellent low-temperature characteristics; and a vulcanized molded body. 3-30 parts by mass of an adipic acid-based plasticizer having a structure that is represented by chemical formula (1) are combined with 100 parts by mass of a rubber composition comprising 10-90 mass% of chloroprene rubber and 10-90 mass% of natural rubber or isoprene rubber. (In chemical formula (1), R1 and R2 each represent an alkyl group having a total number of carbon atoms that is an integer of 1-20 or an ether in which an alkyl group is linked by one or more ether linkages and the total number of carbon atoms is an integer of 1-20.)
