PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine combustor that can improve combustion stability by using a laser combustion supporting device while avoiding a reduction in efficiency of a system.SOLUTION: A combustor comprises: a laser combustion supporting device including a laser oscillator for emitting a laser beam, an optical fiber cable for guiding the laser beam emitted by the laser oscillator, and an optical system for condensing the laser beam guided by the optical fiber cable to a focus located in a combustion chamber; and a cooling fuel passage for injecting fuel toward the focus. The optical system is arranged in the cooling fuel passage.
