PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery housing structure where a hole part for forming an eaves part is not formed in a battery housing part.SOLUTION: A tape printer 1 includes: a battery case 5; an upper cover 201; and a lower cover 202. The upper cover 201 and the lower cover 202 are members having functions different from a function regarding housing of batteries. The battery case 5 may house the batteries. The battery case 5 includes: a battery attachment surface 51; and a peripheral wall part 52. The peripheral wall part 52 supports positive electrode terminals 581 and negative electrode terminals 582. An eaves part 25 which protrudes to the inner side of the peripheral wall part 52 is provided at the rear side of a contact part 583 of each negative electrode terminal 582. The eaves part 25 is provided at the upper cover 201 and the lower cover 202. |
