<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device capable of stably performing data communication while reducing the number of handover steps even during moving at high speed.SOLUTION: A scan management section 13b regularly measures radio quality information among the radio base stations. A handover prediction section 15 predicts execution of handover to switch the radio base station as a target of radio communication by a radio communication device UE based on the measured radio quality information. A candidate radio base station estimation section 19 estimates a candidate radio base station as a new radio communication target based on first radio quality information which is measured after the prediction of execution of handover and second radio quality information which is measured after a predetermined handover execution condition is satisfied. A radio section 11 transmits a radio quality measurement report which includes a piece of information on the handover with the estimated candidate radio base station.</p> |
