PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system which allows attachment/detachment operation of a power cable to be performed safely without deterioration of mobility of a crane, in the power supply system of a portal crane which receives power supply from a power supply facility installed on a container terminal. SOLUTION: In the power supply system 1 of the portal crane 2 which receives power supply from the power supply facility 3 installed on the container terminal 8, the power supply facility 3 has a connecting port 12 provided in the container terminal 8, the power cable 4 connected to the connecting port 12, and a transformer 33 to which the other end of the power cable 4 is connected. The portal crane 2 is configured such that the transformer 33 is suspended by a suspension device 23, and crane is connected to the transformer 33 by a connecting cable 7 to receive supply of electricity.
