PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the optical path in the lower part of a splitter to be measured by an OTDR from the center side.SOLUTION: An optical pulse testing system of the invention herein applied for comprises a center side device 10 and a subscriber side device 30. The center side device 10 includes a first luminous source 13, a first optical receiver 15 which receives back-scattered light generated by a first optical pulse, a second optical pulse from the subscriber side device 30, and back-scattered light generated by the second optical pulse, and a waveform recording unit 19 which records a signal waveform. The subscriber side device 30 includes a second optical receiver 34 which receives the first optical pulse, a second luminous source 33 which outputs the second optical pulse when the second optical receiver 34 receives the first optical pulse, and a mirror 35 which reflects the back-scattered light generated by the second optical pulse toward the center side device 10. |
