Nowadays, inkjet recording apparatuses include large-capacitance capacitors for the stabilization of a heater power source. The presence of the capacitor results in the consumption of much time in lowering a heater voltage at a point in time of, for example, power cut. This may result in unexpected heater current flow during the lowering. In order to solve these problems, a high-voltage logic circuit is provided in the vicinity of a recording element and a terminal is provided so that a signal can be directly input into the circuit according to an embodiment of the present invention. Heater driving control is performed by using the terminal. This ensures reliable heater control, regardless of a logic power supply state, even in a case where the logic voltage is abruptly lowered at a point in time of, for example, voltage cut. |
