PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder dissolving apparatus which can surely supply definite quantity of powder to a sucking dissolving pump side even when concentration and viscosity of a solution obtained by dissolving and mixing powder and a solvent increase and it is difficult to vacuum-suck powder in a receiving space of a definite quantity supply device into the sucking dissolving pump. SOLUTION: In the powder dissolving apparatus Y, the powder P is vacuum-sucked from the receiving space 4 of the definite quantity supply device X and separately a solvent R is vacuum-sucked and then the powder P and the solvent R are dissolved and mixed in the sucking dissolving pump 50. The definite quantity supply device X is provided with a casing 7 and a compulsive supply mechanism 10. The casing 7 defines a powder receiving part 5 for receiving the powder P from a definite quantity supply mechanism 1 in the receiving space 4 and a powder sending-out part 6 for sending out the powder P from the powder receiving part 5. The compulsive supply mechanism 10 is disposed over the powder receiving part 5 and the powder sending out part 6 and compulsively supplies the powder P received in the powder receiving part 5 to a sucking dissolving pump 50 side via a powder sending-out port 7b of the powder sending out part 6 by rotation of a screw 9 having a spiral wing part 8 at its outer circumference.
