摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for measuring the load distribution of a rolling bearing, the outer ring of which a strain sensor is mounted on, capable of precisely determining the load distribution of the rolling bearing using a simple structured measuring device. SOLUTION: In the method for measuring the load distribution of a rolling bearing, the inner ring of the rolling bearing is fixed to the fixed shaft thereof, and the outer ring thereof, which the strain sensor is mounted on, is rotated. A small hole 4A is provided in the circumferential direction in the vicinity of the raceway surface of the rotating outer ring which is disposed and rotated in the outside of the inner ring, and an optical fiber 5, to which a strain sensor part 6 is attached, is inserted into the small hole 4A. And, a recessed groove 4B is formed in the outside of the position where the strain sensor part 6 is disposed in the outer ring 4. Rolling elements 3 are provided between the inner ring and the outer ring 4. The optical fiber 5 is connected to a strain measuring device 11 through a rotary joint 9 which is disposed in the axial direction of the fixed shaft and is rotating. The output signal is taken out from the strain sensor part 6 through the optical fiber 5.
