A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus comprises: a display unit which displays a thumbnail page including at least one thumbnail image; a user interface unit which receives a thumbnail page conversion command; a storage unit; and a control unit which previously generates image information on at least one thumbnail page disposed in a page conversion direction and at least one thumbnail page disposed in a direction opposite to the page conversion direction, with reference to the displayed thumbnail page, stores the generated image information in the storage unit, and generates a thumbnail page to be displayed according to the thumbnail page conversion command, based on the image information stored in the storage unit.
