The present invention relates to a direct carbon fuel cell of coal in which coal fuel is electrochemically oxidized and electrons, which are generated during oxidation, can generate electricity via potential difference between both electrodes. More particularly, the present invention relates to a membrane-electrode assembly for operating low-grade coal fuel; a direct carbon fuel cell comprising the same; and a manufacturing method thereof.
