A method for calculating an optimal solution of system resource management for an N-screen service is performed by an apparatus for calculating an optimal solution. The method comprises the steps of: collecting required data including resource request information of a mobile terminal for a plurality of applications and user satisfaction information associated with each of the applications; applying the required data to an optimization algorithm where required conditions are defined to maximize user satisfaction with at least one of a resolution and screen size of each of the applications; and calculating an optimal solution including at least one of a resolution and displayed devices for each of the applications which satisfy the required conditions.
