The present invention relates to a method capable of directly preparing a magnetite catalyst having mixed copper and aluminum by a simple sol-gel method using a citric acid (CA), and more particularly, to a method of producing a magnetite catalyst for a high temperature shift reaction, the method including dissolving iron nitrate, aluminum nitrate, and copper nitrate to prepare an iron/aluminum/copper solution (aqueous solution I); dissolving a citric acid to prepare an aqueous solution of citric acid (aqueous solution II); adding the aqueous solution of citric acid (aqueous solution II) to the iron/aluminum/copper solution (aqueous solution I) to prepare an aqueous solution III; stirring the aqueous solution III to form a gel; and drying and calcining the gel. |
