PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided coating system which can coat both surfaces of a base material with a coating liquid with high positional accuracy, exhibits excellent mass productivity, and is compact as a whole.SOLUTION: A double-sided coating system includes: gravure kiss coating type first and second coating devices (5a, 5b) which respectively coat both surfaces of a long base material (100) to be conveyed with a coating liquid so as to remain uncoated parts (100c) on both end sides in a width direction of the base material (100); and an edge detector (7) which detects a position of an edge in the width direction of the base material (100) in a position on an upstream side from the first and second coating devices (5a, 5b) in a conveying direction of the base material (100). When a detection position of the edge of the base material (100) detected by the edge detector (7) deviates with respect to a reference position, the first and second coating devices (5a, 5b) are moved so as to follow the deviation of the edge position of the base material (100). |
