PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate automation of carrying in and out of a raring cage to and from a housing shelf in animal rearing facilities.SOLUTION: A rearing cage housing device 1 includes a housing shelf 11 and a nozzle 15 as well as a rubber member 19 and a holding mechanism 21, and is also equipped with a stacker crane 9. In the housing shelf 11, there is placed a rearing cage 3. The nozzle 15 is attached to the depth side face in the housing direction of the housing shelf 11 as well as being arranged toward the near side in the housing direction, and is connectable to the rearing cage 3 placed in the housing shelf 11. The rubber member 19 is provided in the housing shelf 11 and is a member for energizing to the near side in the housing direction the rearing cage 3 placed in the housing shelf 11. The holding mechanism 21 is installed in the housing shelf 11, holding toward the depth side in the housing direction the rearing cage 3 placed in the housing shelf 11. |
