The water shielding section 5 prevents intrusion of rainwater, etc. into the storage section and prevents outflow of water, etc. from the storage section. The storage section includes a measuring instrument 7 along with the contaminant 3. For the measuring instrument 7, a γ-ray detector is used as an example. The measuring instrument 7 can measure a radiation dose (μSv/h). The measuring instrument 7 is arranged at multiple positions in the storage section. The measuring instrument 7 is especially desirable to be arranged at vertically-different positions.
